finally watched this movie today! the main male character is a landscape architect. and i can see how the 'oh you're a landscape architect. come do my garden!' conception came about. actually sometimes it is a shame that i don't know how to do sensational gardens. but still, you never know how much maintenance goes behind it. the enduring landscape, or one designed to change - that is real mastery of design.
anyway, talking about heaven, was just musing about this a while ago. if the essence of heaven is the presence of God, then shouldn't Christians be living like heaven on earth right now? indeed, how often we forsake the sweet consciousness of God's presence. how blind we are to the glories of heaven that surround us, that are readily available to us. how hardened we are to the transforming power that is alive in us each day.
