argh it's stuck! photos of waves? that's a plunging wave! meaning the slope is quite steep and the sediment size is moderate. photo of a beach? ahh those sediments are huge meaning e beach must be really steep and reflective (reflecting wave energy, not light) and the waves must be surging. a photo called 'cliff' - really? where where? let me guess how it was formed!
i guess i'll never look at landscapes the same anymore.
i guess that was the point of getting landscape architecture students to take geomorphology.
